Brian Gibson

Founder · Veteran

Brian served his country, came home to Southern Illinois, and turned a love for backyard games into a craft. What started as building boards for friends and family grew into Gibby's Gorilla Boards — a shop dedicated to making the best-playing, best-looking cornhole boards in the country.

Service, country, and craft. That's the order. Every board leaves the shop with the same standards Brian carried in uniform: do it right, do it once, and stand behind it.

Why Baltic Birchwood

We use 100% European Baltic Birchwood — the same plywood spec the ACL uses for sanctioned tournament boards. It plays true, sounds right, and holds UV ink without checking or splintering. We don't cut corners on materials. Period.

Why UV print

UV printing cures ink directly onto the wood with ultraviolet light. No decals. No vinyl wraps. No fading in the sun. Your art lives on the wood — through every game, every tailgate, every season.

Made in Southern Illinois

Every board is cut, sanded, sealed, and printed by hand in Southern Illinois. When you order a board from us, an American is building it — not a factory line, not a drop-shipper. One veteran-owned shop, one board at a time.
